Here’s a quick peek into my regular maintenance habits for my vehicles:
- Religious synthetic oil changes for all cars. It’s so crucial to keep up with oil changes. I use not only synthetic oil but the top of the line synthetic as well as premium, superior oil filters. I’ve seen first-hand the adverse effects that come from neglecting this.
- New air filters regularly. New air filters will improve fuel efficiency, reduce emissions, and keep the engine running well. Plus, new cabin air filters mean you are breathing the best air inside the car.
- Tire air pressure & rotations often. Air pressure is maintained on all 5 tires (including the spare in the trunk). Also, the 4 tires on a car are going to wear differently. That’s why tire rotations are necessary to prolong the life of the tires. I rotate my tires routinely. You’ll always enjoy reliable tires with good tread on them when driving one of my vehicles.
- Regular cleanings. Don’t worry; I never use the inside of my vehicle like a trash can or smoke in it. Instead, I clean my cars before each rental. That includes cleaning the exterior (unless it’s raining) and interior of the car.
- Checking other fluid levels. Making sure the rest of the fluids under the hood (wiper, coolant, brake, power steering, transmission, etc.) are maintained at their proper levels ensures everything runs smoothly and effortlessly.
As you can see, I keep a very close eye on the maintenance of my vehicles. That’s why my fleet continues to operate at such a high level.
